Richmond Virginia Wedding – Myra & Joshua

post by matt

We jumped in the car after our Saturday wedding in Reading PA and made the drive to Richmond VA for Myra & Joshua’s Sunday wedding. Joshua proposed just a few months ago, so they having been planning like crazy for their August 5th wedding! Sunday dawned a beautiful day for the couple to say I do. They had a Jewish ceremony that was followed by many of the Jewish traditions during the reception as well. Myra & Joshua chose to take a short walk across the street to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts for their pictures and we couldn’t have been happier!

These pearls were given to Myra by her adopted grandmother. She gave them to her inch by inch and Myra chose to wear them in honor of her for her wedding day.

DIY garland.

Her beautiful gown from Tiffany’s Bridal.

Myra & Joshua are very close in height, so she chose flats for her wedding shoes.

The men.

The ladies, who were very entertaining!

Myra’s friend made this spoon mirror to compliment their wedding colors.

The beautiful bride!

Her girls prayed for her before she walked down the aisle.

Myra & her mom. This picture was specifically for her mom, who has a picture like this with her mother on her wedding day.

Seeing each other :)

Super excited as Joshua stomps the glass…..

And the smooch!

Crossing over to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.

The bridal party.

It was a little windy…..

The grounds of the museum are fabulous!

And those clouds, just perfect.

Bridesmaid & groomsmen details. Each bridesmaid picked their own dress, and made their hair piece. I love the shimmer that their wraps have.

And now for the new Mr & Mrs.

They are very sweet together.

Did I mention how great the location was?!
