Normandy Farm Wedding – Jennifer & James

post by matt

From the moment we met Jen & Jim we were friends. We just had a great connection and were so excited about their wedding that we were thrilled when they said, ‘yep, we choose you!’. Last Saturday was the big day, so we loaded up the car and were off to Montgomery County PA. It was the most beautiful fall day! Jen & Jim opted for the First Look, which of course we love and they did too. Then after an outdoor ceremony it was time for the food…er…I mean reception….I mean party. You see Jim is a chef, so food was a big deal at their wedding. And the party? It was crazy! Breakdancing, twirling, a packed dance floor, karaoke….and after that? They just continued on to the hotel bar….and started all over again!

Her dress and shoes.

Some bling.

Her groom getting ready.

Stamped and dated.

Her Mori Lee gown is from The Country Bride & Gent.

All of the girls had corset back dresses….it took a bit of work to get them all in ;)

Her mothers hands.

She’s stunning isn’t she?

A pic request from the bride. (I have to say I’m loving the sepia, good job Matt!)

First Look.

Ok, let me tell you a bit about Jen & Jim….

They are high school sweethearts that met……

in cheerleading!!

He was the only guy on the team….and he won her heart.

They’ve been together for 11 years and you can still see the glow of new love. It kind of just follows them.

Their bridal party.

And because they’re too cute and we had more time….back to the couple.

Smiles all around as Jen walks down the aisle to Jim.

The beautiful outdoor ceremony location at the perfect time of day.

First kiss as husband and wife.

Mr & Mrs.

Their reception was in the Silos Ballroom, so we grabbed the bridal party for a few more pics during cocktail hour.

The cocktail hour was fantastic, the food delicious. There was even a mushroom station. The ballroom was beautiful especially with the floral centerpieces and each guest was given a bottle of homemade wine. Cake and Catering by Normandy Farms Hotel & Conference Center.

This was no ordinary first dance. There was spinning and twirling and a whole lot of smiles.

Their cake was delicious with a coffee flavored filling, yum!

Dance Party!

Thanks so much for choosing us guys! We had so much fun at your wedding, with you guys and your friends & family. We know you’re having a blast on your honeymoon and look forward to showing you more when you get back.

PS. We totally would have come even if we weren’t taking the pics ;)
