Kelli & Rich rang in the New Year by saying ‘I Do’ at the Knowlton Mansion in Philadelphia. Matt & I were thrilled to be shooting our first ever New Years Eve wedding and to spend it with these two! Even though their wedding was in the evening so they could party with their guests until 2014, we had an early start to the day so that we could get some great photos of the two of them while we still had daylight.
The day was cold, but beautiful and Kelli even got the snow flurries she was wishing for throughout the afternoon :) Knowlton Mansion is a lovely mix of old and modern and it just suited their wedding theme perfectly. After a lovely ceremony, dances, speeches and dinner everyone prepared for the excitement of a new year with party hats, noisemakers and sparklers. I have to say that Kelli & Rich’s guests dressed to the nines!! I am so impressed with how everyone went all out, and even matched their colors and theme. You could tell that everyone was excited to start a new year celebrating Kelli & Rich!

So I have to say something about this picture. Yes, they all look fabulous, the mansion was such a fun place to discover! But what I want to say about this pic is that I’m always impressed with Matt’s creativity and ability to make something work by doing something I wouldn’t think of. This picture right here, they are all sitting in pitch black! One flash lit up the room and the bridal party for this fun shot :)
And then we went to the wine cellar, this place just had so many gems!
One more bridal party shot in the reception hall.
Personalized matches for the sparkler send off. If you remember back to Kelli & Rich’s engagement session Kelli had a great mustache necklace that had a part in their session, so I love that they had Mr. Mustache at the wedding too ;)
This one was the grooms idea and we love the result!
Time for some fun with their rings.
This guys was waiting for the ceremony to begin and decided to spice it up a little :)

And to end the night, a sparkler send off.
Congratulations Kelli & Rich! It was so fun to have you as our last wedding of 2013 and the first of 2014 ;) Wishing you lots of love in your life together!
