There are so many stunning details to each wedding that we capture that it’s hard to even choose pictures for todays day of the countdown. There are just so many great details out there! In fact, Nat gets new ideas for our next wedding at every wedding we shoot!! (Apparently we’re having another one….) We thought these details were extra creative and unique.
Ben’s bowtie made the perfect perch for their rings. Notice the Chemistry symbols that compliment their photography and chemistry theme.
A matching blindfold for their non first look.
Brittani is a photographer so she got to have little cameras hanging from their test tube filled favors.
This is too cute! Elizabeth’s two children carried it down the aisle to announce the bride.
Disney was the theme for Elizabeth & Chris and Mickey made an appearance in the damask icing for their cake.
This is a memorial of Gina’s father who recently passed. She and her sisters each had one, they were made from one of his shirts.
Lauren’s bouquet and her matching mini toss bouquet. The lace is from her mother’s wedding dress.
Liz & Ryan’s cocktail hour was perfect with these mini beer, grilled cheese & loaded potato appetizers.
They also had fries, mini burgers and mini milkshakes for late night snacks… genius!
Martha & Andy’s customized lanterns lined the reception entrance.
After dessert they broke out the cigar & whiskey bar complete with personalized matchboxes, and scarves to keep warm.
Love the fake hipster tandem bike. (Inside joke)
Some of the whiskey options.
Nothing like a little cigar smoke.
This is a sealed box containing a bottle of wine and notes about how they feel about each other on their wedding day. Megan & Steve nailed it shut as a part of their ceremony and will only open it if they need to be reminded of what they vowed to each other that day.
This is a postcard that Meghan’s sister gave to all the wedding guests by putting it under their seats. During her speech she revealed them and instructed all the guests to send them a postcard with well wishes and advice over the weeks to come. My favorite part was when the best man (Derek’s brother) got up afterwards to give his speech and thanked her for the picture of him in his underwear that made it onto the postcard, lol!
And they had a soft pretzel ‘to go’ basket as you left the reception… awesome!
Sarah’s bouquet was an incredible work of art made of wood, paper and broaches!
Stevie & Terry had their guests throw Fruity Pebbles as they were announced husband and wife, plus they got to keep the personalized coozy.
Being pelted with Fruity Pebbles.
Love this blueberry and wire tree on Gina & Scott’s cake. By
Stevie & Terry also had corn hole boards at the cocktail hour that matched their colors.
Breeann & Dylan had this gorgeous cross as the centerpiece for their ceremony.
Tomorrow’s post will be all about the better half.
