Sarah & Chris had just started dating when we met them at Heather & Shaun’s wedding a couple years ago. Sarah was full of life and both were so easy to get along with, it was fun sitting at their table! So fast forward a couple years we get a very excited email from Sarah saying that she and Chris are engaged and want us to be their photographers. We were thrilled :) So here we are in October and their big day arrives. It was in the middle of all that rain, but they got an overcast day, with no rain that was to die for!
Highlights of their day included a First Look in Mulberry Art Studio‘s old elevator, some sweet finds in the city for pictures and a video appearance that brought Chris to tears. It was such a beautiful and memorable day! Here’s what it looked like.
Jewelry and the dresses.
The bride’s shoes.
How awesome is her bouquet?! She got it from Etsy and it is filled with wooden & paper flowers and broaches :)
A couple more because it was so detailed.
Into the gown.
First moments together :)
So much love.
They really wanted these first few moments in the elevator and it was stunning!
Lovely fall colors.
Upstairs in the studio has so many great places for indoor pictures.
Sharing a laugh.
Had to have some pics with the Mustang….Sarah’s impressed, lol!
She still loves him ;)
That’s pretty evident.
S & C.
They wanted to do a jumping shot and made it pretty epic.
Chris and the guys.
The girls clearly like to have fun!
A sweet moment between grandma and granddaughter, who is now wearing her ring.
The ceremony room at Mulberry.
Some happy tears.
They chose to have their guests surround them during the ceremony.
A fun shot Matt got during the ceremony.
Vows and Rings.
Kissing her husband!!
Afterwards they wanted to get a few more pictures in the city.
The gorgeous Sarah.
Love this cool backdrop Matt found.
I have no idea how this happened, but it’s pretty funny ;)
And when we turned the corner to head back to Mulberry we found a cool alleyway.
When we got back to Mulberry we were whisked away to the roof, and were so happy we didn’t miss that opportunity.
They are so in love.
A couple more before they are announced into their reception.
Oops, people are looking for them ;)
Reception details. Cake by Christine’s Confections. Also, Sarah loves elephants! A live elephant is even a part of their very sweet engagement story.
That ended with a dip.
Dancing with her dad.
Cake cutting and smashing. Their guests voted who would get cake smashed in their face. Sarah was the loser, but if you notice the girl in the background….she is handing Sarah a cupcake that gets smashed in Chris’ face :)
Dance party. Thanks Mikie Mic DJs for the great atmosphere!
Congratulations Sarah & Chris! We are so happy for you :)
