We started our Saturday wedding (July 3rd) at Ashley’s parents house. It was a beautiful day, and a beautiful location! The girls looked amazing in their bright pink bridesmaids dresses. Ashley was glowing in her gown and I had the privilege of joining her and her parents in the limo on the way over to the church. The emotion between Ashely and her dad was beautiful. Ashley is his oldest and only daughter and you could just see how much he loves her and how happy he is to be giving her away to Nick.
Nick’s family traveled from the midwest to see their oldest son get married. And lets just say….they have a lot of personality! Nick seems shy to begin with, but the crazy faces and laughter just start to take the place of what you once thought was a quiet reserved guy.
One of the best details of the day (in my humble opinion) was the candy bar at the reception. Yes, you heard me correctly….a candy bar! Now I’m not big on chocolate, but I love chewy, gummy, sour candy….and the display was brilliant. If we were to re-do our wedding, this is one thing I would definitely have!
So, the day was beautiful and perfect. Congrats Ashley & Nick!
