Meghan & Derek knew they wanted to get married in Lancaster city, so it was very important to them that we captured them in the city for their wedding pictures. They had the most gorgeous July day to work with, although I’m sure Derek would have preferred to be in shorts and a polo walking around in the heat ;) We met them at the Penn Square Marriott and got all of the getting ready pics before we set them up for the First Look. It was such a sweet moment between these two, who are incredibly witty, a little inappropriate at times, and perfect for each other.
We walked through the city, got an unexpected invitation to take some photos inside Central Market and arrived at the Ware Center with enough time to relax before the ceremony. The city is a goldmine for great photo locations, I mean let’s be honest… that’s why we live here. But it’s the interaction between Meghan & Derek that made us love this wedding so much!
After their ceremony, dances and delicious meal by Jimmy Duffy’s it was time for the party! Meghan was the dancing queen of the night ;) We grabbed them for a couple more shots of just the two of them before we left them to continue the party with their friends and family in downtown Lancaster.

Stopped for a tune.
You’d think they were the only ones in the city that day.
We then headed over to Central Market.
And they just kept being adorable.
They are so at ease with each other.
A couple of my personal favorites from their day.
Carr’s Restaurant provided the perfect backdrop for them.

One of Meghan’s bridesmaids had a baby the Wednesday before the wedding, but still showed up to celebrate with Meghan & Derek (and brought along the youngest guest at the wedding)! She arrived just in time for the ceremony so we grabbed a few more shots with the girls after the ceremony was over.

Reception details and check out the gorgeous room the Ware Center!
Their first dance was pretty epic.
The food was Ah-Mazing!! Jimmy Duffy’s = food masters.
One of the great things about the Ware Center is that they display local art. This particular piece was the perfect backdrop for their gorgeous cake made by House of Clarendon.
Can you tell Meghan likes to have fun?! Dancing with her dad.
Dancing the night away thanks to Provolve Entertainment.
Here’s another great piece we used for one of the closing shots.

Meghan & Derek it had been so great getting to know you both and being a part of your wedding! Congrats and we can’t wait for our next culinary adventure ;)
