Megan and Steve chose the beautiful Heritage Hills for their wedding day. We arrived on a gorgeous Saturday morning and joined in the fun of them getting ready for their big day. They opted for a first look and we’re so glad they did because we had such a great time capturing portraits of the two of them! I may have scared the nurse in Megan with my climbing skills to get the right shot, but we all made it out injury free and with some unforgettable moments :)
They had a lovely outdoor ceremony, a quick bite to eat during the cocktail hour and then it was time for dinner and dancing. They had a lot of details in their reception that made it so memorable. A couple of my favorites were the S’more bar and their ‘dance on the clouds’. They ended the night with some sparkler fun, and just like that they were the new Mr & Mrs :)
Hot pink, her bling and her gorgeous wedding gown.
A gift from Steve and her something blue.
The beautiful Megan.
Just sittin’ around waiting to get married ;)
A few special charms added to her bouquet.
Mr Steve getting ready.
The anticipation of seeing his bride :)
Yep, they sure do love each other.
Workin’ the camera.
Him & Her.
The beautiful florals are all thanks to Weddings & Blooms.
A quiet moment.
Then we ventured on out to the golf course and found this great location for some more pictures.
See guys?! The climb was totally worth it ;)
I love how they make each other laugh!
What a stunning day!
OMG love that red hair, just grabbing a couple details from the flower girls.
The guys thought I was pretty funny :D (ok, maybe not…there were a lot of jokes flying around at this point).
The girls placed their flowers very gently down the aisle in preparation for Megan to walk towards her groom.
A little note for the groom ;)
Nope, he’s not going anywhere!
The ceremony location at Heritage Hills is secluded, but still has an amazing view!
‘In case of emergency.’
It’s official :D
Wow! Just wow!
A different take on family portraits.
Black & Pink details. Their cake was made by family friend, Peggy. And check out their cake topper, Megan had it made especially for them.
Longest married couple at their wedding, which I believe was 61 years!! Now that’s something to aspire to!
Spinning his bride around.
Congrats Megan & Steve :) We loved being a part of your day and getting to know you guys as a couple. We wish you 61+ years of happiness <3
