It all started in a Psych class at Duke, but it took Adam two years to ask her out. Clearly she said yes and things progressed from there. Once he proposed they started looking for a venue to hold their wedding in the spring or summer. As most of you know things book up pretty quickly and initially they found many places that were already taken. But Glen Foerd was just waiting for them. They found it and just loved the setting!
Glen Foerd Mansion fit their romantic, slightly vintage garden wedding perfectly. The whole place was adorned in pretty florals, with plum and lavender tones. The lavender was chosen to honor Adam’s mom, whom they lost not too long ago and it was beautiful. The day was filled with laughter, tears and a whole lot of joy as they celebrated with their friends and family :)

Courtney requested that we take a picture of their rings on piano keys as Adam is an accomplished pianist, and I love it!

Love her bouquet with touches of lavender and green. All of the florals are by Carl Allen.
I just adore this shot that Matt got of Courtney getting her dress down <3

And it was perfect!
Such a special moment, I’m not sure if they even noticed their audience ;)

A glimpse of their after dinner party. The Rich Posmontier Ensemble kept the party flowing all night.
And then for the second time that day the rain stopped just long enough for this pic capturing the couple and their wedding date <3
But we had to end with a shot that captured that crazy rain, I don’t think it bothered them a bit ;)
Congrats Courtney and Adam, we had so much fun being a part of your day :)
