Our first wedding of the year was this Saturday and it was a perfect day filled with fun, and celebration! Cassie & Mike are a great couple and we couldn’t be happier for them! They had a gorgeous wedding and even braved the rain for some amazing shots. Natalie was able to make it for a little bit after delivering our baby girl Keziah only 10 days earlier. Don’t worry we’ll post some pics of her soon! Also a big thanks goes to our friend and fellow photographer Mark Van Scyoc who filled in and helped me fill in the blanks where Nat couldn’t shoot.
We started the day at Cassie’s parents house and had a blast with all the different unique places they have around their home.. My favorite was the Japanese Maple tree in front of the house. After taking the flower pictures there Cassie’s mom told me that she planted that tree when her and her husband got married over 30 years ago.
The bouquet’s are compliments of Rose from Rohrer Family Farms.
Love the glow on their invitations.
The sapphires really make Cassie’s rock pop!
Dad’s first look.
All the ladies look great in their bright dresses.
Once the traffic cleared we got some shots in the covered bridge by the house.
Back inside to grab a few things before we go to the ceremony.
My favorite shot. Cassies’ had her hair and makeup done by Destination Spa .
A little help from Mom & Dad.
Mike looking sharp.
The view from the back.
Just as we arrived to the Farm at Eagles Ridge the rain started to pour. Thankfully the staff were completely prepared and had umbrellas ready..
I just can’t get enough of spring.
Cassie really wanted some shots down by the pond. Even the pouring rain couldn’t keep these two away.
Love this shot!
The bridal party.
Strutting their socks.
The first dance.
I just can’t get enough of the moments between father and daughter.
And the party goes on, thanks to Silver Sound DJ’s.
A few night shots to end the evening.
Out with a bang.
Thanks so much Cassie & Mike for having us be a part of your day. Your families are great and we loved being able to capture it from our perspective. Congratulations!!
