August 8th we met up with Emily & Andy for their wedding in Loysville, PA. Emily told us back when she booked us that she absolutely loves black and white photography. We kept that in mind while editing the wedding photos as we we agree that black and white’s are stunning and timeless.
Emily prepared for the day in a beautiful log home her parents built from scratch. After a beautiful ceremony and a few quick portraits at the church, we were all excited to get to the reception! Luckily the rain held off all day so we could get some outside portraits. Two buses that Emily & Andy rented helped transport all of their out of town friends to the reception at Warm Springs Lodge in Landisburg, PA. It was a beautiful location right along the river. We spent some time in the grass by the creek getting some more portraits before joining the rest of the crowd. Everyone had a great time and we had a blast capturing the memories and emotion of the day.
I love the light in this room. Natalie and I would love to build a home like this one day.
Emily gave her girls a photo album full of fun photos and memories from their lives together. Let’s just say their were more than a few hugs, tears and smiles.
Love the sun glasses Andy!!
One of our favorite shots from the day. Down by the creek.
It was threatening rain but we only got a few drops here and there.
These cups were a way cool touch to the reception.
This guy made an entrance to the dance floor when he through a stack of bills in the air before dancing with the bride. If only every dollar dance was this fun, love it!
