Michelle & Chris got married last weekend at Drumore Estates. The day arrived, overcast and threatening rain and with that fall chill in the air that can take your breath away. So, as we were photographing the details and getting to know their wedding party we were just hoping the rain would hold off until after their ceremony. For some people it’s hard to understand why a couple would have their ceremony outside, even with the threat of rain or with a definite chill in the air, but for Matt & I, we get it. There is a feeling that you get when you are picking your venue, the place you will say ‘I Do’ to the one you love, a feeling of calmness and joy and excitement. And so you hope with everything that you are, that how you imagine it will truly be how it is captured. I say brave the cold, wait the extra few minutes for the rain to stop, and have your dream ceremony! It’s totally worth it, I’m pretty sure Michelle & Chris would agree…..

Shortly before the wedding Michelle was walking out the door to work while rattling off a list of things they still needed for the wedding. She asked if they could take some time later that evening to talk about them and maybe get some of them done. A couple hours later she got a text from Chris saying he already got one of the things on the list done for her. Check out the personalized hanger that Chris himself made for his bride <3
A couple months ago Michelle broke some bones in her foot, so being able to wear her coral heels for the wedding was a big deal!
Matt had fun balancing her’s in his for this shot ;)

Michelle was obsessed with the moose….I’m not kidding, so for one of the final couple shots we got Mr. Moose to pose too :D
Don’t let this pic fool you, they kept the party going even after Drumore as the TapRoom graciously stayed open for them to continue the celebration.
Michelle & Chris, thank you so much for having us be a part of your wedding! We’ve had such a great time getting to know you both and your families. Congratulations and we’re excited to hang out and show you the rest of the pictures!!
