Saturday marked the beginning of a new wedding season for (mattnnat). The day was bright and beautiful for Caitlin & Jared’s spring wedding. We were thrilled when we woke up to a stunning day since Cailtin’s family has a trend of rainy days that follows them for wedding days.
We started at Calvary United Methodist Church in Harrisburg for their ceremony. It was filled with love and beauty and a couple of surprises from the bride to the groom. Afterwards we headed to the Capitol with the bridal party for pictures. Caitlin and Jared had reserved the Capitol building in case of rain, but we decided to take the time and use the beautiful building as a backdrop for the couple even with the nice weather we had outside. Afterwards we walked towards the river and got a few more shots of the couple and their bridal party.
Their reception was held at Carlisle Ribbon Mill and guests were greeted with their signature drink, a refreshing mojito. The reception was beautifully rustic and the perfect atmosphere for the party that followed dinner.
We’ll start with surprise number one from the bride to the groom. His boutonniere included a Scottish Thistle in honor of his Scottish heritage.
Caitlin’s beautiful dress from Tara’s Bridal.
Surprise number two was a traditional Scottish Luchenbooth Brooch.

The bride’s jewelry and her bridesmaids pearls.
Their gorgeous rings!
Her shoes and some of those amazing spring blossoms.

And for the final surprise from bride to groom, a bagpiper to escort down the aisle as they are announced husband and wife :)
