This past August we went to Canada on vacation to visit our friends Andrew & Courtney. We have known Andrew for years, having first met him when we lived in Australia and we’ve stayed friends even though there’s a few miles between us now. We first met Courtney not long after they started dating at our own wedding reception in PA. Andrew is the creator of our promo video that you see at the top of our blog so we’ve definitely kept in touch over the years and this past summer decided that we should vacation together. So, we drove up to their place with another couple from Virginia for a week just to catch up and have some fun. Not only did we get to the top of the CN Tower, tube down a river (that tried to kill all of the American’s by the way….) and enjoy some good food, we also planned an Anytime Session with Andrew & Courtney while we were up there.
You see they got married about 3 years ago, but weren’t super excited about the pictures they got from their day. So they decided they wanted to have another chance to get some pictures that they really loved. Andrew rented a tux, Courtney got back in her dress and we were off to Elora ON for an afternoon of pictures. We had so much fun with these two! It could be that we’re already friends with them, it could be that they are hilarious, or it could just be that they are so good together that made our time with them so amazing. We’re proud to show you our favorite images from their session.
Oh how we love old abandoned buildings :)
Courtney’s dress is perfect on her!
Fun with texture.
Sometimes a little direct sun can be beautiful.
There is a beautiful area just by the river in Elora and we took advantage of the afternoon light.
Andrew checking out his bride ;)
Did I mention we love old abandoned buildings?
They really are this adorable.
A quiet moment.
We decided to cross over and go into town for a bit at the end of the session.
Just outside a little shop called Paris.
Love this one!
