Lindsay & Chris got married on one of the hottest Saturday’s of the year, only to be cooled off with an incredible summer storm. The gorgeous Lindsay got ready at her parents house with all of her bridesmaids before walking down the aisle to her groom at St. Ignatius. It was a beautiful ceremony and in between saying their vows and scripture reading they had a few moments of conversation just between the two of them. Every once in awhile you would see Chris look over at Lindsay and there would be a huge smile on his face!
After the ceremony and family pictures we took the bridal party to Tulpehocken Creek Valley Park for photos. It was definitely worth braving the heat and I think we had a lot of fun before everyone completely melted ;) We got a few shots with Lindsay & Chris before heading to French Creek to cool off before more pictures of the bride & groom. On our way over the sky started changing colors and you could tell a storm was moving in. We grabbed a couple of golf carts and made our way to a part of the course we hadn’t been to before and I am so glad we went exploring! Chris took advantage of some off roaring opportunities and I’m pretty sure he almost lost his bride a couple times! On our way back to the club the sky started showing off with lightening and we got in just before the rain.
As for the party, I have to say it was one of the best dance parties I have ever seen! The Chatterband kept everyone moving and the dance floor was full until the lights were turned back on and it was time to head to the after party.
