Megan and Evan chose The Farm at Eagles Ridge for their rustic glam wedding and it was the perfect fit for them! Earlier this spring we met up with them in Wilmington DE for their engagement session and they talked a lot of their upcoming day filled with friends, family and fun details. Thankfully we arrived on a beautiful day for their outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, followed by a super fun party in the air conditioned barn ;) Having one of the biggest wedding parties we have ever worked with their day was full of laughter, emotion and love. We were so thrilled that they chose to have a First Look because there were so many great moments to capture with these two!!
Megan’s Badgley Mischka’s, the pale pink matched her bridesmaids dresses perfectly.
The final details, and she looked stunning all day!
Megan’s dress from Jennifer’s Bridal, a Tara Keely design.
Pretty in Pink….and white ;)
The finishing touches.
There was no tossing of the garter, this one was just for her groom.
Gifts from his wife-to-be.
Evan’s mom pinned on his boutonniere just before the First Look.
Sneaking up on him ;)
Their first moments together on their wedding day <3
They are so sweet together.
Checking each other out ;)
If I could describe their emotions throughout the day in one phase it would be pure joy.
Lookin’ good guys!
During our pre-wedding meeting with Megan & Evan they asked if we had any recommendations for old truck rentals. They wanted something to add to the feel of the day especially for the pictures and the cocktail hour for their guests to enjoy. As it happens, Matt’s hobby is to fix up old vehicles and he has a group of friends that likes to do the same! Our friend Jonathan was available for their date and was more than happy to bring out his truck for these guys :)
Petals with Style created all of the beautiful florals for their day. I love the contrast in the picture.
Wow. Megan. Wow.
A bride, cowboy boots and an old truck, what more could Evan ask for?!
Where they will stand to say ‘I Do’.
On the dock.
Makin’ him smile.
And then we took them here…
So cute, the Ava’s taking their job seriously ;)
Megan and Evan had so many people in their bridal party, so they wanted to capture all of those different personalities ;) I think we got it!
Megan and the pretty ladies.
The whole lot of them….minus the ring bearer who would make his appearance later.
Fun times with the truck.
Yep, a fun group of guys!
Time to walk their girl down the aisle.
Tears of joy.
Their beautiful ceremony, complete with vows they wrote to one another.
Putting that wedding band on.
Check out that bridal party!
Mr & Mrs!!
Accomac Events made the gorgeous spread for both the cocktail hour and dinner. Everything tasted and looked good!
Evan with his dad and bro, a great family pic ;)
The new couple holding their parents wedding photos.
Just before the reception they went back into the farm house to cool off and relax, so we took a few more pictures.
Duette Hair & Makeup Design did such a fabulous job on all of the girls hair and makeup. They all looked beautiful all day through the humidity and impending storm! Love this shot Matt got of Megan in the house.
I grabbed them for this shot in the corn crib right before they were announced into the reception.
That is some rock!
First dance spins :)
He loves his girl!
Toasting his brother and new sis in law.
House of Clarendon made their beautiful and tasty cake….and Megan smashed it in his face!
Silver Sound DJ’s kept this crowd dancing’ all night long :)
Enjoying their party.
We stole them away for a few mins to go back down on the dock.
Sent off with sparklers just before the storm hit!
So after the guests left and the rain started to fall we asked if these two were up for just a couple more pictures, we are SO glad they said yes!! Absolutely stunning!
Dancing in the rain!
Congrats Megan and Evan, we’re so glad we got to be a part of your day and are so happy for you!
