A beautiful wedding in Hershey – Becky & Paul

post by matt

There was the threat of rain in the air all day on Saturday, but it didn’t take away from the joyous mood of Becky & Paul’s day. The rain held off, Becky was glowing and Paul could not have been happier as he saw his bride walk towards him and declare that she was, from now on, his wife.

The day started at Fishburn United Methodist in Hershey, PA. The mood was calm and relaxing when we arrived and the only thing that changed was the excitement level as the day went on.

Becky’s dress was perfect for her.

The girls prepping for the day.

Lani Todd was doing Becky’s make-up and as always did an amazing job bringing out Becky’s natural beauty.

Tina and Stacey from Head Over Heels did all of the girls hair. Tina also happens to be Becky’s sister, so she was multi-tasking as hairdresser and bridesmaid.

Lori from Wildflowers by Design brought in the fabulous bouquets. They were so bright, a perfect accent to the girls dresses.

The groom.

Awesome moment with the guys.

Seriously Lori does amazing work! Becky’s bouquet had just the right amount of color and the bridesmaids were so bright and beautiful.

A moment with Dad before the ceremony.

The ceremony began with Becky’s dad walking her down the aisle. Ed is disabled and was very determined to walk his little girl down the aisle (and later have a dance with her). The ceremony was filled with love and tears, I’m not sure if Becky and Paul even noticed they had guests in the room!

The lovely ladies.

Some time just with the new couple.

Becky, seriously, you look brilliant!

A couple details.

A little smooch under the trees.

Look at that smile :)

Her love.

I used the spring backdrop for their ring shots….love that there were still a few raindrops.

Overcast days are just fabulous for lighting and so are the consistent smiles on the couples faces!

Some reception details, the cupcakes were sooooo good!

First dance as husband and wife. (Yes, we were invited to the reception and don’t normally hide behind everything;-)

Paul’s brother gave the toast.

Then it was time for some dancing, cupcakes and some serious cake smashing!

There was another special occasion in the room….and they totally surprised him :)

Congrats Becky & Paul, we loved being a part of your day!

I totally enjoy the company and professional attitude. Their pictures show their abilities and thoroughness of using every available item to tell the story of the occasion. Hoping to be with them when Tina and Devon make the move.
