Emily and Mike attended a wedding we photographed earlier this year. Actually, Mike was the best man and we remember Emily rocking the dance floor in her red dress :) When they contacted us this past summer we were thrilled to meet with them and hear about plans for their special day. When it came time for the engagement session we threw around a few ideas and then they decided on Longwood Gardens.
It was a chilly, but beautiful fall day. We were grateful for the outfit change breaks inside and ended the session wandering around in the warmth of the conservatory. It was fun to get to know them better and capture some special moments while they are engaged.
We started on the hillside.
Love all of the different areas on the grounds, beautiful any time of year.
Just a few mins in and they are rocking the session already!
Look at that awesome fall color.

Congrats Emily & Mike, we had a blast spending the day with you. We’re looking forward to the wedding next year!
