Gettysburg Engagement Session – Stevie & Terry

post by matt

We met Stevie & Terry for the first time a few weeks ago. We got along instantly and our first meeting flew by. Shortly after this we started planning their engagement session in Gettysburg. Terry is a history buff….who happens to be a history teacher as well. Stevie is his loving fiancé who suggested we capture their love in one of her love’s favorite places.

The day of their engagement session was absolutely gorgeous! We started in downtown Gettysburg and despite a little run in with someone trying to parallel park in the space we were using to shoot… was a lot of fun walking around ;) After a couple of outfit changes we headed out to the battle fields and enjoyed the rest of the evening taking pictures and gleaning from Terry’s knowledge of the history of the area. We ended with a fabulous dinner at this little hole in the wall shop and all of us dying to see the results of the day.

I adore Stevie’s dress!!

Love it.

In the square of Gettysburg.

They really are adorable.

These are from the same sequence as the sneak peek on Facebook yesterday :)

And right about here is where Matt almost got run over….totally worth it!

Terry + Stevie.

Kissin’ in the Traffic Circle.

Outfit change number one brought us to the train station.

How can you not love fall?!

And the giraffe necklace.

One of my personal favorites.

On to the battle fields. They greeted us with the most amazing sky!!

They are so happy :)

Stevie great job on the accessories, everything looked great!

One thing about engagement sessions is that you get to kiss…a lot ;)

Oh, you know, just hanging out by the cannons.

The wind started to pick up a bit as the sun started to set.

Her fabulous engagement ring.

Terry showing us what’s what and one more kiss to end the evening.

Stevie & Terry your engagement session was a blast! Congrats, we’re looking forward to the wedding next year :)
